Well boys and girls.. I’ve been goaded into starting up the What Is That? image identifying contest again.. If you are going to play along and you guess what the picture up top is, you’ve got to submit a new one for everyone else to guess.
For you newcomers to the game.. If you want to crop your own WIT picture when you win.. the size of the part you want displayed should be 961 x 226 pixels. Here’s a blank .jpg at that size. If you can’t do that on your own, mail me the image you want part of displayed with a description of which part, I just won’t get to play along so do your own work! There’s information here on this site about free image editing software and web apps to help you but it should be common enough these days that anyone can find a way to fill out that blank header! Remember small images won’t look too good if I have to blow them up so big to get a small section of them to fit in a 961 pixel wide banner. So use big image to start with if you can =)
I know this is all old hat to many of you but we should have some new folks here playing the game. We’ve had about 150 or so WIT pictures so far, I’ve only listed 100 or so here and here with most of them showing the original image and the WIT part.
Remember if you are going to play along, please know you will be expected to furnish your own image for the rest of us to guess! Take a look at some of the other ones to get an idea of what it’s about.

This first one is still pretty big since yours was big. Only 19k size though.
And a smaller one but has double the file size, 40k. The cost of transparency.
and one same width as our raid team logo 320 total (318 on the color)

After that I didn’t do much else except listen to a few podcasts.. finished up Convert To Raid #8 and thought.. Zhug’s banner for CTR on his forum sig just needs a little something, not much, just something. I just rounded the corners and ‘bossed it a little. Wanted to keep the transparency around the corners. Saving it as a .png it was like 56k. As a .gif only 20k. Since I didn’t make it to use a blend of more web friendly colors in it than he did and I can’t find that font to save my life, I just left it alone as a .gif for the smaller file size.
I didn’t want to change the design that Zhug obviously liked.. but I can’t help myself once I get Photoshop open.
