Talk Is Cheap

I standing on stick on a relatively quiet game, when Lynda looks at Quy, who was setting up bets, and says”I can’t hear you.” Which Quy matter of factly replies, “You can see.” I could not help but laugh. A few roles later he throws in 4 bucks and says “hard sic and eight.” That brought about “Your first?” and you guessed it, his reply was “You can see.” Then he looks up with that “cat that ate the canary” grin. Even Lynda could not stifle her laugh. A little later in the evening a dude throuws in a hard 10, Quy books it and Lynda books a hard 4. The guy corrects it by saying no it’s a hard 10 and the King points to himself and says “Right” and then points to Lynda and says “Wrong.” I cannot do these events justice. Lynda tried not to laugh but it was next to impossible. The Mong was on fire!

So I tap in on stick and call a winner. I am watching my end and all of a sudden I hear, “Johnny used to work on the docks, unions been on strike, he’s down on his luck.”  This dude just bursts into song. He did not even have money on the game.  About 2 minutes later he treated us to a little Motley Crue.

I am on 101 last night when Karen M. taps out Mike L.  I could not help myself I had to say,”We are replacing 6’4″ with 4’6″”.  I return from break to notice that on the game is Quy, Little Joe, Karen, and Leslie is sitting box.  I tap Quy and ask him what it was like to be the tallest dealer on a crew.  I felt like Shaq.  Quy taps in and begins to deal.  About 2 minutes later Quy, with out provocation, says this is the Ewok crew.  He then asked me if I had seen the Ewok movie and how much he liked the ewok movie.  I am  not doing the humor factor  any justice, but he  went on to say that he had checked blockbuster for more ewok movies  and  they did not have any.  I about had an accident on stick when he did his imitaions of a ewok by pushing up his nose.  Quy is the Man!!!!

Last night I was crossfiring on craps no more, I won’t deny that’s what I was doing, when I told Hollywood, a.k.a. Funky Tim Medina, that Q-Bert was available for download on the ps3 website. I added that $5.99 was a little steep but if you were feeling nostalgic it was probably worth it. His response …… “What’s Q-Bert?”

If she wants to share the joke it is up to her

It is a sad day. Steve Irwin, the quirky Australian naturalist who won worldwide acclaim as TV\’s khaki-clad \”Crocodile Hunter\”, was killed by a stingray barb through the chest on Monday while diving off the country\’s northeast coast.

A teacher is explaining biology to her 4th grade students. “Human beings are the only animals that stutter”, she says. A little girl raises her hand. “I had a kitty-cat who stuttered”, she volunteered. The teacher, knowing how precious some of these stories could become, asked the girl to describe the incident. “Well”, she began, “I was in the back yard with my kitty and the rottweiler who lives next door got a running start and before we knew it, he jumped over the fence into our yard! “That must’ve been scary”, said the teacher. “It sure was”, said the little girl. “My kitty went ‘Fffff, Fffff, Fffff’… and before he could say “Fuck,” the rottweiler ate him!”

We are taking Hadley’s place to a new level. Its just a shame Mel never did any anti-drinking or drug ads because it would make this more fun. Apparently Mel was popped for DUI the other day, which would not be that big of a deal. Let’s face it, unfortunately it happens every day.
