Hey guys, I just wanted to say that it was fun working with all of you guys, even during my cranky moments. I heard horror stories during craps class that everyone was going to be hard on us and I found it to be quite the opposite. I really appreciated everyone’s patience and kindness. So thanks again and maybe in 30 days when I’m allowed back on property I’ll stop in and say hello. (Who knows, I might end up having a good night like Grant did!) If anyone wants to grab a drink or anything…my calendar is pretty open! It’s been fun!

    Well.. poop.

That sucks. I know there were quite a few, I was hoping that all our dice dealing friends would avoid the cut. Sorry to see you go, BoomBoom. Gonna miss ya.

I say that but I’ve been off Friday and Saturday on PTO.. hopefully not my Phinal Time Off. They said the folks that were off and “got the boot” got called in but I don’t answer my phone during the day haha. Ya never know.. I missed a couple pre shifts in the last couple months and you never know what crazy criteria they are gonna use to get rid of people OBVIOUSLY.

Aww man. :-/ Good Luck to you Boom Boom! And, when you can get back on the boat you should. That karma can be a bitch to the boat. All the B.S. you had to put up with for all the years you have been there. Bet you could make a lil’ extra scratch.

BoomBoom, sorry to hear about you going. What’s going on – are they laying people off and picking random criteria to do so? Maybe my move to the coast was a better move than I previously thought. Harrah’s has decided to scrap Margaritaville (the reason I moved down here). Hard Rock, Beau Rivage and IP have all been laying off dealers and floors. The economy is hurting this industry more than we may realize. I’m not sure that the Hard Rock going in in KS is a good thing for the casino industry in the KC area. Unless the economy turns around soon, this could get a lot worse before it gets better.
