What's going on - are they laying people off and picking random criteria to do so? Maybe my move to the coast was a better move than I previously thought. Harrah's has decided to scrap Margaritaville (the reason I moved down here). Hard Rock, Beau Rivage and IP have all been laying off dealers and floors. The economy is hurting this industry more than we may realize. I'm not sure that the Hard Rock going in in KS is a good thing for the casino industry in the KC area. Unless the economy turns around soon, this could get a lot worse before it gets better. BoomBoom, sorry to hear about you going. I say that but I've been off Friday and Saturday on PTO.. hopefully not my Phinal Time Off. They said the folks that were off and "got the boot" got called in but I don't answer my phone during the day haha. Ya never know.. I missed a couple pre shifts in the last couple months and you never know what crazy criteria they are gonna use to get rid of people OBVIOUSLY. Well.. poop.
