Scientist trying to cure cancer, burns water.  Looks like it will need a lot of testing and money to find out what applications it might be useful for, if any.  Somehow I feel it’s going to be fairly inefficient but who knows yet?  That’s right, nobody.

Yet.

just the description of hydrogen burning so long as it was in the RF field gave me instant visual of Jar Jar’s lips getting caught in the power coupling. If this RF generator is strong enough to basically break apart the molecular structure of water, just think of the safety issues of Billy Bob and his gang of rednecks or any other idiot getting their hands on a machine like this. What happens in an auto accident? Engine smashes into the Volvo in front of you and disintegrates two children? Call me a skeptic, but I don’t see something like this in the remote future.
