This isn’t a Joe Cat story, but it qualifies…
Little Joe is on stick, D.O.T.Y. is on base.. other base is slammed paying a ton of stuff. Joe says “White to stick, please.” Nothing happens.
Looks at D.O.T.Y. still standing there.. ”White to stick.”
<crickets>
Joe blinks and takes a nickel off his stack and throws it in the come in front of DOTY and says “check change.”
“Where?”
“To me.” says Little Joe.
“Oh ok.” and she cuts out five singles and hands them to Joe.

LOL – I have my guess as to who D.O.T.Y. was, but I’ll keep my comments to myself.

Joe should have said “friend I need white”….maybe DOTY would have paid attention

Ok. So this story is funny, but I forgot to tell Scott the best part….. Being the other dealer (ok, the other lump) on base, I got to witness the whole thing.
Not only did Little Joe check change the base dealer, D.O.T.Y actually dropped cut (well, dropped) only 4 cheques. When she noticed that she had only dropped 4 she tried again to check change 5, but this time picked 6. Finally, on the third try she dropped (notice I did not say drop cut) 4 and then picked 1 and handed the ‘change’ off to Little Joe. I was still in awe over what had just happened when the box, “Princess” looked up and he said, “What the hell is going on here?”. Little Joe and I had a laugh and then the dice were out…
