I don’t think you ever told us what casino you work at.. but that’s my guess..
Not close enough? Hmm.. Isle of Capri.. I couldn’t find a match, but looks like it might be the one, from what I have seen of it.

That is Eastside High School, home of the Wildcats. Get Your Head In The Game!

Ummm, no and no. Actually I’m working at Treasure Bay. It’s the break-in casino down here and the toke rate sucks, but no one was hiring when I arrived. Had I shown up two weeks earlier, I would have landed a job at one of the other casinos. They will all be hiring in the next two months, so it is my goal to land at one of them. Hard Rock is averaging $43/hour on tokes and Beau Rivage is averaging $33/hour on tokes. IP is about $22/hour. We are averaging $11/hour where I’m at. My casino is poorly run. They ran off all the high rollers and lowered the table maximums. They actually go out of their way to hurt the toke rate because they want to remain a break-in casino. None of the dealers are there because they enjoy the toke rate, we’re all just waiting for the other casinos to start hiring again. But at least I get to look at the ocean on break and my drive to work!

One, eastside high was the home of the Ghosts. Two, the wildcats were at central, at least if you are talking about the movie. Finally, I thought you moved to New Orleans, if so, it is the Gulf of Mexico that you gaze upon. Sorry had a bunch of d-bags on the game tonight and needed to tee-off on someone. My guess is somewhere at the University of Purdue.

Nope I live in Mobile (for now) and am working in Biloxi as I had planned. I’ll be moving to Biloxi later this year. So, yes it is the Gulf of Mexico that I see every day. And no, it’s not any place at Purdue.

What movie are you talking about, Frank? My gawd Craig is talking about Disney’s High School Musical.. I really hope you are mistakenly talking about something else LOL..
P.S. Craig it’s just “East High School” not Eastide. I KNOW this.. kill me now.
August 26th, 2008 at 12:09 pm
That is the John Deere museum in Rock Island.
August 26th, 2008 at 3:33 pm
Nope, Frank was much closer.
August 26th, 2008 at 8:10 pm
The Gulf of Mexico wouldn’t be considered part of the ocean?
Oh, I will guess United States Federal Reserve. (basically I have no idea)

Nope
August 27th, 2008 at 6:39 am
Me either.. I’ve pretty much given up looking for a solution to it too, so here’s my wild guess. A building at the Olympic Village. That’s all I’ve got and it’s not based on anything.

You guys didn’t respond to my real concern:
The Gulf of Mexico wouldn’t be considered part of the ocean?

Well, it has something to do with sports. Putting that with Frank’s guess should be a huge help.
August 27th, 2008 at 9:22 am
Is it the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis?
August 27th, 2008 at 9:59 am
No, but you’re getting warmer
August 27th, 2008 at 3:15 pm
I am such an idiot!!!!! It is the outside of Coors field. Probably taken from the deck at LODO’s. I took a very similar pic last summer.
No Kevin, the Gulf of Mexico is not considered the Atlantic Ocean. It would be closer to being a part of the Caribbean Sea. The movie was Lean on Me. High School Musical? I just figured out Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus were the same person 6 months ago.

Nope, not the outside (or inside) of Coors Field
August 28th, 2008 at 4:18 am
I didn’t say you were talking about High School Musical.. I know you weren’t.. Craig was.
Ok.. one last shot.. LSU’s Athletic Administrations building?

August 28th, 2008 at 7:30 am
Wow, you guys were so close and now you’re so far. No Scott, that is incorrect. I’ll send you a bigger piece of the pic.
August 28th, 2008 at 3:30 pm
Ross-Ade Stadium
August 28th, 2008 at 4:46 pm
No, it’s not at Purdue and has nothing to do with Purdue. It’s killing me you guys were so close earlier. When I tell you how close, you’re not going to believe it.
August 29th, 2008 at 5:32 am
I already don’t believe it. And now.. here’s his bigger picture. I’m not gonna try and pic a part to fit into the top of the webpage.
August 29th, 2008 at 6:16 am
Just let me know when you guys give up.
August 31st, 2008 at 3:35 am
Leave it to the non-sports fan to get this one lol…it is the Lucas Oil Stadium! Talk about a lot of Googling!
August 31st, 2008 at 6:30 am
Well, the correct answer is “Lucas Oil Stadium, new home of the 2007 Super Bowl Champion Indianapolis Colts”, but I’ll accept simply Lucas Oil Stadium. BoomBoom for the win! When Jay guessed Conseco Fieldhouse, he was just 6 blocks away! Congrats Jess, as I’m dodging Hurricane Gustav.
