Amris, here’s the three power aura’s that I still use. I’ve lost the other abilities I used to use PA with.. Divine Plea and Sacred Shield. That’s a whole ‘nother post though.

Set=@
Aura[1]=Version:4.5; b:0.0157; anim1:4; g:0; icon:Spell_Holy_RemoveCurse; buffname:Forbearance; begin:1; groupany:false; unitn:Only for raid/group.; bufftype:2; texture:25; alpha:1; isResting:0; speed:2; stacksOperator:=; PowerType:0; aurastextfont:7; size:0.1; y:30; finish:2; timer.h:1.56; timer.enabled:true; timer.y:-104@
Aura[2]=Version:4.5; b:0.0667; anim1:2; g:0; icon:Spell_Holy_Restoration; buffname:Divine Protection; begin:1; groupany:false; unitn:Only for raid/group.; texture:16; alpha:1; isResting:0; stacksOperator:=; PowerType:0; combat:true; size:1.46; y:0@
Aura[3]=Version:4.5; b:0.0353; g:0; icon:Spell_Holy_SealOfFury; buffname:Righteous Fury; texture:51; PowerType:0; spec2:false; wowtex:true; inverse:true; ismounted:0@

A big ugly screaming face for when you do not have Righteous Fury up (only shows when you are in Prot spec). A Divine Protection active indicator and small marker and a timer for Forbearance (not really as necessary anymore) but meh..

Copy that and paste into Power Aura when you hit the “import set” button.

It’s just a thing. Don’t try and guess what it is because it’s not any thing. Just didn’t want the Emergency one up anymore.

WIT game will return soon.. possibly. Anyone want to send me one, go for it.

If you are having trouble getting WoW’s launcher program to go more than a little bit into the red bar before freezing up, then try turning off your Anti Virus software. It was driving me crazy. Snoozing my AV software worked and the patch is “initializing” again!

I had the background downloader grab the 4.7G patch some time ago.. have ~1.4 gigs of updated stuff to grab though, seemingly. Now to just find some glue to put this hair back on my scalp.

Well I sent a question to The Instance about our guild tabard. It kinda suprised me when I was listening to the podcast this weekend and mine was the first question. Not exactly 15 minutes of fame or anything but it was a nice pick-me-up after a long horrible night at work, though.

Oh.. and I did a new tag-sig for our 25 man team.
Hail to the King, baby!

For some football?!

It’s that time.. forming a league from my AIE raid team and a few other WoW friends (or whoever) that might want to join in. I’ll add more teams if the first 10 fill up fast.. and scrap it?? if only 4 or so. Not sure.

Standard NFL.com fantasy rules are applying, draft on the 6th.  I know this is starting kinda late.. hoping to get at least 10 folks in. Nevermind. Only four folks for it.

I’ll be in town all day Wednesday.  Who’s working Wednesday night?

As I type this, it’s Day 70 of the “Disaster in the Gulf”.  This thing has been botched by BP, congress and our President.  It’s something that never should have happened, but for so many reasons other than the obvious.  We sit and wait for the oil to make landfall on our beaches.  It’s not something we are looking forward to, but something that is not a matter of ‘if’ but ‘when’.

It will only take a tropical storm or a hurricane to splatter oil all over everything within 2 miles of the beach (my apartment sits just under a 1/2 mile from the beach and I work on the beach).  Tropical storm Alex will most likely push oil onto our beaches, but won’t come close enough to send it airborne.  There is talk that 3 casinos that are on the water (Beau Rivage, Hard Rock and the Isle) may be shut down once the oil gets here, for safety reasons.  Is this good news for those of us that work at a different casino or will this spell doom for all the casinos?

When I left Kansas City in May 2008, I knew I would be facing hurricanes.  I knew I would never need to shovel my driveway or scrape 1/2 inch of ice off my windshield ever again.  But I didn’t know that I would be driving on roads covered with oil.  I didn’t know that I would be smelling oil every waking minute of the day.  I didn’t know that such a beautiful place still struggling to rebuild after Katrina would have oil wash up on it’s beaches.  I don’t regret leaving Kansas City and I don’t regret moving here.  But I fear that I may have to move if Biloxi is hit again with one more disaster.
