Nice choice coming looks like. Should be able to extend the life of a raid instance for an extra week. I hope they allow you to change your mind during that 2nd week and start over fresh for that current week if you choose.

Lots and lots of changes coming in 3.2 as seen in the patch notes for the public test realm.

Tons of class abilities and talents are being redesigned.  Gameplay changes and one big change that will affect all our gear gathering ability (and sourse.. *cough* grind for gear) are the changes coming to the emblem system.

• Both the 10 and 25 player instances of the Crusaders’ Coliseum drop a new Emblem of Triumph.
• Any dungeons that previously dropped Emblems of Heroism or Valor, such as Naxxramas or Heroic Halls of Stone, will now drop Emblems of Conquest instead. Emblems of Conquest can still be converted to Valor or Heroism.
• The heroic dungeon daily quest will now reward 2 Emblems of Triumph and the normal daily dungeon quest will reward 1 Emblem of Triumph.
• The existing achievements to collect 1, 25, 50, etc. Emblems of Heroism, Valor, and Conquest have been converted to Feats of Strength since Heroism and Valor Emblems are no longer attainable.

New achievements have been added to collect various amounts of any combination of emblems.

What I’m curious about is what will happen to the emblems of Heroism and Valor that we already have.  Will they be transformed into Conquests?  Doubtful since the Conquests can be converted into Heroism or Valor.. so the items that are purchased with them currently will still require official Hero or Valor emblems and you’ll have to convert your new Conquest if you want to buy those items.  Make sense?  I did to me in my brain.. not sure if it came out that way on “paper” though.

Not all classes have as huge of changes coming as paladins do.. (just wow).. like rogues only have 2 changes, so far.  Can use axes (and sword specialization talent changed to include those axes) and a change to Shadow Dance in subtlety.  Paladins have .. well I can’t even begin.  Check out your class.

Just in time for it not to matter to Mike.. poor Mike.  They are lowering most of the level requirements for mounts, flying and ground and making them cheaper.  Except for epic flying

I’m lookin for input here or on the AC forums (freshly cleaned of all the spam that accumulated over the two months I haven’t looked at it LOL).. what are your thoughts?   Try the new world order partnership with <HHG> for awhile?  Go back to <AC> and raid 10 mans?  There would be enough from <Scarra’s Guild> (this is a good name?) to field a 10 man with us?  Twizz and Jonash are there..  Talk to me.. speak.. what am you gonna do?  So I can figure out what I’m gonna do!

What do you guys wanna do?  Don’t hold back, be honest.  <Faith of the Fallen> is entering into a split raid plan with <Horde Honor Guard> doing Ulduar 25 3 to 4 nights a week.  Tu/We/Thu with Friday and Monday being optional.  Basically we are adopting their loot policy for our combined raids.. there have been a very few changes to it that aren’t yet displayed yet at www.hordhonorguard.com under the “policies” link near the top. Ok, I’m a excited.. even though it’s the Titan lore that I’m not very fond of.. and it’s got more of the most annoying dwarf in the world.. I liked the new trailer for Secrets of Ulduar up at the wow site.

Ugh.. I just know we are gonna have a lot of Brann Bronzebeard in our future.   Too bad you can’t mute or /ignore NPCs..  I was really suprised that patch 3.1 will be appearing today.  Glad for it, just suprised as they never took the test realms down.

They aren’t spot on, but they are pretty close and an interesting look.. here’s a pictoral selection of real world location counterparts to WoW settings.  Give em at wowraid.com.

 If we just switch the Sunday Night Crew’s 10man raid to Monday.. we will only have that one shot at clearing it.  Which isn’t really a problem if we have 4 hours.  Getting a late start will mean not getting to the end at all (cause of the reset that Tues morning) and it’s pretty much just Sapphiron and KT’s loot that’s any good for us now.  Except for alts we can run through of course.  Too many alts at once and we won’t finish in the 4 hours though.  I don’t see that as being a problem though really.

Next to think about is Ulduar.. it’s gonna replace Naxx as our ten man run.  We won’t be clearing it in four hours any time soon I don’t think.  If we are just gonna do a one night Crew thing it won’t matter what day.  If we do it on Monday for four hours, getting into it as far as we can, it won’t matter if it resets because we were only doing one night anyway.  Don’t start sentences with the word “but”, I know.  Sorry, brace yourself.  But if plan on doing more than one night in Ulduar.. tell us here what nights you can go and how late you think you can stay on.. and from all that input we can get a feel for who we have and when and how to make the best use of all of us!

 Me.. I can raid (starting from wow’s “week start of tues)  Tuesday, Wednesday and Monday.. all night.  Don’t care which 10man .. would kinda prefer Ulduar10 Tues/Wed leaving Monday to run any other.. Maly10, OS10, Naxx10.   I know Tuesday will be late.. after guilds 25 man.  So Tuesday might be best spent on a quicker run for the Crew like a single boss raid.  This is just putting down what I’m available to be on at.  Which is again, all night Mon/Tues/Wed and we can figure out where to go once we know what we have available.

Yup.. that’s me.. the champion.  Vent exploded when we beat Malygos.. the annoying Aspect of Magic dragon had already enraged.. we had fallen quickly one after the other near the end of the fight.  Malygos was flamed down to within a thin, thin thread of his life.. there was one lone person left alive, a second away from getting blasted out of the sky when the our fire boiling inside of the dragon ticked away the last 10k health and we won!

You can’t get any closer than that was.. I was already groaning inside about us losing with about one more tick of damage left to go.. but Maly didn’t get off that last attack and my eardrums nearly popped as we all screamed into vent over and over.  This was our “last time” trying for the night after several attempts, some of which didn’t get out of phase two.

The gang that took the final boss in the game down.. Rossa (me you twit), Systine, Twizz, Moshinlizard, Rokmarines, Misuse, Biggerthanu, Stubbybaest, Dikshnizle and Deadkujm. I know Canada/KC crew was gonna plan on doing it Monday.. but with Cabo and Cantra’s anniversary (17 years is huge grats, not sure how you put up with him, Cantra) on Sunday.. figured that would push back our 10 man plans this week anyway.

Footsteps of Malygos and Black Ice dropped.  I lost offspec roll on the polearm to Rokmarines.. it’s an amazing graphic on that thing!  DRAT! =) I had the quest from key from neck from Sapphiron (follow that?) and chose the tanking neck Drakescale Collar.  If I ever win the neck from heroic, I’ll probably take the healer neck from that.

I’ve setup a guild forum here.. used phpbb3 so it’s not integrated with the blog.. doesn’t share login or anything.  Thought about doing that but kinda wanted to just keep it seperate (and was easier).. So you guildies will want to pick a name to register on it with, please.

Wowiki has a good write up of course but I found a “better” one at wow-pro that has twenty-seven eight by ten color glossy maps with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one explaining what each one is.
