It has been nice not feeling like I had to log in to raid these last few weeks. I am looking forward to running 10-mans and I hope the 25 man raiding tool works (it is going to be battlegroup wide also right?) Anyway, I posted on the AC fourms. How attached to <Frak> are the Canadians? I wonder if they will return to AC…
Dang we have the bases covered for 10 mans I think:
Tank: Rossa,Oodles, Dirk,Rette, Exzeus, Demondream(I hope to change his name when I race change him in Cataclysm. I hope I can make him a Bloodelf named Sagasto), Ezek’s DK (did he transfer him back, I forget the toon’s name?) and Crathbun’s paladin (is that right, my memory fails me).
Heals: Qualm, Cabowabo, Ezekiel, Bronsh, Rossa, Twizz(forget his new name) and occasionally Cantra. I am sure I am missing toons from both lists.
Do we have a vent that we can use? If we pooled our money and got one, is there an option to allow others to join us for 25-mans with limited access or do you have to change the password all the time?
I am excited about getting back to our close group of friends. I was luke-warm about SI. Hope this works out.

I am too. To all of that. Haven’t heard if the LFG/Raid will be just be on our battlegroup or gamewide. The transition of everyone to battle.net will make for total intercommunication between all blizzard games.. not just all wow servers. You’ll see your friends on Diablo3 and SC2 also. Hmm how bout a raid invite while you are gnawing on some marines leg in a zergling rush? SPAWN MORE OVERLORDS!

Seguro is Twizz’s new name and yes his DK Imposer is on Hydraxis still, or now, not sure but it’s there. It doesn’t look like he’s raided since Ulduar, he’s all 226 and 213 I think on the priest. It will get by I reckon.
Some ventrillo providers offer like a guildpay option where individuals can contribute toward the cost of the server. That would be a good option. I’d pay a buck or two a month for it. A 25man costs about $10 a month, 35 slot is $13-14.
Here’s some pricing from a couple top ones.

darkstar has a decent deal on 6month and 12month plans.. Like 25man for $8/m for 6months or about $6/m for 12m.
They have one (not on that page) but listed elsewhere.. a 35 slot server for $99 a year, that’s $8.25 a month. If we were gonna go 25man it would be nice to not have just 25 slots but “meh”.
Anyway.. that’s a general idea of the prices. Six or seven of us kickin a buck or two a month would cover a big server. I’d do it if could just click on a link and paypal it in or whatever. Darkstar has that ability built into their system, a clickable link for people to contribute to the cost. Not sure about the others.
Edit: well I like typefrag’s 30 slot for $86.40 a year.. just over $7 a month.

The hugely popular and incredible massive Autonomous Collective forums are still there. I removed all the Mercenary Elite forums as that guild has been deaded for awhile now.
