It’s been quite a different experience so far. It’s so big you don’t know, can’t know everyone. It’s pretty remarkable though, the level of decency and non-asshattery that the people in have. Hard to get such a large group of people together in an online community that aren’t.
I’m glad I joined. It’s lacks close comradery of smaller guilds but have found that in our raid team. Yes it’s cliquish but there’s so much opportunity within the guild that there’s so very little feelings of exclusion that happens with cliques in smaller guilds.
Hard to explain. It’s just a very different type of experience. Good times.
